Simply turn up to the Monday or Thursday session wearing suitable clothing and experience a session . It usually takes beginners a couple of months training to really start seeing the benefits. After your first couple of session, member are encouraged to own a karate gi. ¦ Uniform ¦ KUGB membership license, (Kugb.org )this provides injury insurance and allows you to participate in KUGB events such as the end of term grading and competitions.Your first step into karate class is always the biggest one, could change your life. Karate is a great form of physical fitness, like Weight loss, Toning, and achieve your goals. karate training not only your body but your mind as well. The discipline developed from martial arts can help you and make it a life-long habit. Karate is not just kicking, punching, is far more than that. We all understand that the physical balance has to do with things like being able to stand stably on one foot, but life balance is something that is a little harder to come by in today’s world. Life is a balancing act, we need to learn to find a happy medium in all aspects of life: what we eat, how much time we spend working versus relaxing, spending time alone or with a group, etc. This one is a less obvious benefit of learning martial arts, Karate can help develop this sense of self control. The Bury St Edmunds SKC Grading System Mean

The coloured belt gradings are like stepping stones on the path to a student’s goal of Black belt. A grading represents that a student has reached a competent level with their current techniques and are ready to move on to learn and develop more advanced techniques and skill-sets.When a student has completed 5 / 6 Month practice time on a particular belt, and have gained a strong confidence of the technical requirements for their current grade,The examiner may ask to see some or all of the Kihon, Kata and Kumite listed in the KUGB Syllabus. Students from numerous dojos attend this and grade as a collective group. Students are only tested on the techniques required for their belt grade.a formal presentation will be awarded Grading Certificates and new belt at the Bury St Edmunds SKC
